The first of many

Yesterday was the first day of kindergarten for my sweet oldest son. I almost wrote baby...I guess he is not a baby anymore. He looked so old to me...so grown up! It was a great morning! I did not get choked up till we turned down the kindergarten wing hallway and he started to hold my hand a little tighter until he abruptly let go of it turned smiled and went into his room. I walked away feeling a little knot in my throat.
