Christmas Highlights

What a wonderful Christmas 2009! We had a great time leading up to celebrating with friends and spending time with out nieces. Christmas Eve brought a very worship filled Church service and a night with the traditional steaks and shrimp dinner with the Caskeys. Waking up Christmas morning to an overcast sky helped the boys to sleep in a little longer than usual before we hit the ground running into out VERY Star Wars/Sesame Street Christmas morning. It was so fun to watch the kiddos this year! After a fabulous lunch including some of my favorite foods we celebrated Big G's birthday. Next year there will be 6 grands--Woot! I have put my favorites of the season up for you to see as you can imagine with mimi/paparazzi there were a billion to sift through.

Our Christmas with the Wells. fun times OK was so sweet

A day with the girls- W and Kiran play so sweet together(most of the time) here they are having quiet time and watching Polar Express

Oh these two are trouble in the making. Here they are hiding from me and Papa. They were just giggling. So sweet
Christmas morning checking out what Santa brought..at this point W still had not noticed the dual action lightsaber sitting right in front of his face
Happy Birthday Papa
Christmas Morning J and his drums..hmmmmmmm was a really good gift Santa?? I 'll let you know in a few weeks.
I think we ended our Christmas season with one of my new favorite traditions. We headed to Hollywild with Rhonda. Since Daddy was traveling she decided that we needed to get out and have some holiday fun. So we bundled the boys up. Filled the car up with gas and headed to the middle of nowhere. HA It was so much fun. Great lights and going after Christmas we didn't have a long wait. We saw all sorts of animals. I don't know who screamed more with excitement...the boys or Miss Rhonda! Ha W got the chance to roast marshmallows for the first time and was happy that he shared that with "his" Rhonda.
Daddy arrived safely last night or should I say this morning at 1:30 am after being delayed several times in Chicago. Luckily he got to eat some great deep dish pizza before departing the windy city. Glad he told me this morning that the pilot missed the runway at GSP followed by a rocky landing and a "Welcome to Charlotte"!!! WHEWWW Glad he is home safely and with us for a little while.
Tonight we will be sad missing Jason on this New Years Eve but looking forward to having a house full of BOYS and a little clogging action from your favorite Preschool Minister.
Happy 2010. May you grow deeper in the Lord and fill your homes with love.

Oooohhhh, a drum set! Did Santa bring Mommy some Tylenol?! LOL, we have the same drum set and it's usually OK - except for that time when I had four precious children use it to form a marching band inside - yikes!!! Looks like a wonderful Christmas.
